Kota, Rajasthan: In a major development in the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, three alleged shooters have reportedly been detained at Rajasthan’s Kota railway station while travelling by train, sources said.

The suspects were detained during a joint operation conducted by the Rajasthan Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Kota City Police. They are currently being interrogated at Kota City Police Station. According to sources, a juvenile is among those detained.

One of the suspects has been identified as Hritik Kumar alias Roshan, 22, a native of Piprai village in Bihar’s Begusarai district. He reportedly lives near Urdu School in Mumbai’s Andheri West and works as a bike rider.

Another suspect has been identified as Rehan, 18, a resident of Sonipat in Haryana. The identity of the third detained individual has not been fully established in the information available.

Firing Incident in Mumbai

The detentions follow a firing incident reported in Mumbai on the evening of October 18, 2026, at around 7 pm. According to the complaint, Tiger Shroff was returning by car after playing football when two unidentified assailants allegedly approached the vehicle and opened fire with pistols.

The firing reportedly took place as the car exited the school grounds and turned left. The assailants allegedly fired from the front and the left side of the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

Tiger Shroff was reported to be safe and did not sustain any gunshot injuries. However, his caretaker and driver, Firdos Ibrahim Baloch, sustained injuries. Police also said another person in the area was hit by a bullet during the incident.

Case Registered, Investigation Underway

Mumbai’s Juhu Police registered a case against three unidentified individuals in connection with the firing. The FIR reportedly invokes Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with relevant provisions of the Arms Act.

Investigators are working to establish the identities and alleged roles of the suspects and determine the motive behind the shooting.

Interrogation of the three detained individuals is underway in Kota. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
